Malia’s in Aiken, South Carolina, is seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Steward to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, supporting chefs and kitchen staff, and ensuring the overall efficiency of kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and work areas. Operate dishwashing machines and perform manual cleaning tasks as needed. Collect and dispose of garbage and recycling. Restock kitchen supplies and assist in organizing storage areas. Follow proper food safety and hygiene standards. Support chefs and kitchen team as required.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a kitchen or stewarding role is preferred, but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
