Job Description:
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking kitchen helper to join our team at a busy Indian restaurant in Columbia, SC. The ideal candidate will assist with basic food preparation, kitchen cleanliness, and supporting the chef during service hours.
Responsibilities:
Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and other ingredients Assist the cook with meal prep and kitchen tasks Maintain cleanliness of workstations, floors, and utensils Load/unload dishwashers and hand-wash items when needed Dispose of kitchen waste and follow basic food safety standards
Qualifications:
Prior kitchen or restaurant experience is a plus (but not required) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and ready to learn Understanding of basic Hindi or Punjabi is a bonus
