In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals, ensuring that all food safety and hygiene standards are met. You will work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to create a positive dining experience for our guests while contributing to menu planning and catering efforts. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation, cooking, and plating of menu items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings. Support catering operations by preparing food for events and ensuring timely delivery. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other food preparation tools. Follow all health and safety regulations in the kitchen environment. Participate in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels. Skills Strong culinary skills with experience in a restaurant or food service environment. Knowledge of food handling procedures and dietary department standards. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with menu planning and catering is a plus. Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with kitchen staff effectively. Familiarity with various cooking techniques and equipment operation, particularly knives and other kitchen tools.
