Team Leader 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars Fort Mill, SC 29708 Expectation to assist or lead in the proper running of shifts, as well as assist other Leaders in their individual roles. Must have an intimate knowledge of the vision and values of the restaurant and operate accordingly, be growth-minded and actively seek to grow and develop Team Members and the business. Requirements/Responsibilities Be knowledgeable in all the functional and procedural aspects of the restaurant to be able to effectively role model, train and coach Be actively involved in developing Team Members by having one-on-one conversations and mentoring Team Members in how to do things the right way every time Understand how to manage productivity and expenses, including food and labor costs Be available to open and/or close the restaurant, and be knowledgeable and confident in all opening and closing systems and procedures Clock Team Members in and out from their shifts and administer breaks Be knowledgeable on catering orders from start to finish and able to fulfil all catering orders accurately and timely Adhere to daily checklist completion and show delegation ability Understand and execute disciplinary actions as needed Must be able to see things in a holistic manner and make decisions quickly Must be highly adaptable in stressful situations (staffing inconsistencies, unexpected sales volume, unsatisfied guests) Ability to execute all Quality Control and Safety procedures as well as accompany Inspectors around the restaurant for announced and unannounced inspections Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills Willingness to take initiative in approaching Team Members and Team Leaders about coaching conversations Must be able to receive constructive criticism and feedback Must be professional in actions, speech and appearance Demonstrate maturity and patience in dealing with guests and Team Members Delivering a “REMARK”able experience to all Guests and Team Members Must have a thorough knowledge of the Winning Hearts strategy and execute it daily Must have a balance between personal and professional and treat all team members equally and fairly Exemplify the following characteristics at all times: knowledge, sense of urgency, leadership, good character, positive attitude, respect, dependability and reliability Maintain a thorough knowledge of all Chick-fil-A at Baxter Village policies and procedures Understand restaurant systems and processes – how they work, why they’re important, and how they help the business grow, and possess the ability to communicate and demonstrate these to the Team Consistently execute procedures with excellence while not taking short cuts Be a role model to team members, and understand that team members are looking to you to model the behaviors and attitudes required by the entire team Maintain annual training certifications in all areas of the restaurant Incorporate all available training resources provided to you in the form of technology and tools provided Special Instructions Please do not send any emails, resumes, or call.
