Food Prep Taichi Bubble Tea – Gunbarrel Rd 1820 Gunbarrel Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Food Preparation Worker to join our culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring that food is prepared safely and efficiently, adhering to all food safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, a strong understanding of food safety practices, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare and assemble ingredients for meals according to established recipes and menus. Utilize proper knife skills for cutting, chopping, and slicing various food items. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas. Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our patrons. Assist in menu planning by providing input on seasonal ingredients and dish ideas. Collaborate with cooks and dietary aides to ensure timely meal service. Participate in catering events as needed, preparing food items for large groups. Conduct regular inventory checks of food supplies and report shortages to management. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred. Knowledge of dietary department operations is a plus. Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety regulations. Strong knife skills and experience with various cooking techniques. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in food preparation tasks.
