This role is essential for maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a commitment to providing outstanding hospitality. Duties Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including sweeping and mopping floors. Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for service, including arranging tables and chairs as needed. Bus tables promptly after guests leave, ensuring that all dishes are collected and cleaned efficiently. Support kitchen staff with food preparation tasks as required, contributing to a smooth workflow. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely service and address any customer needs or concerns. Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Strong customer service skills with a desire to help others and enhance their dining experience. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining effective communication. Experience in catering or hotel settings is a plus but not mandatory. Knowledge of proper food handling techniques is beneficial for maintaining health standards in the kitchen. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
