Eastern Peak on Thompson Lane is currently hiring a Full-Time Back of House (BOH) Cook with experience in Thai, Asian fusion, sushi preparation, wok stir fry, and grill techniques . Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook authentic Asian cuisine (especially Thai, Japanese, Chinese-style dishes) with attention to flavor, texture, and presentation Handle wok stir fry, grill, sushi station, and prep work as needed Follow standardized recipes and portioning guidelines while maintaining high-quality output Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the kitchen in line with food safety and health department regulations Work alongside fellow kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service during lunch and dinner rushes Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients (FIFO) Assist in inventory monitoring and communicating supply needs to management
Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a kitchen that specializes in Thai, Japanese, or other Asian cuisines Strong wok stir fry, grill, and/or sushi prep experience Knowledge of food safety practices including ServSafe or equivalent certification preferred High attention to detail in plating and food consistency Comfortable in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative kitchen team Bilingual (English/Thai, English/Spanish, or English/Chinese) a plus Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and overtime when needed Must be authorized to work in the United States Why Join Eastern Peak?
