The ideal candidate will assist in meal preparation and food service, ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment. This role is essential in supporting our cooks and chefs, contributing to the overall efficiency of the kitchen operations. Responsibilities Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as directed by the cook or chef. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. Help with food handling and storage, ensuring all items are properly labeled and stored according to safety standards. Support cooks during service by preparing ingredients and assisting with plating dishes. Follow food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure high-quality food service. Skills Experience in the food industry or previous kitchen experience is preferred but not required. Basic culinary skills including knife handling and food preparation techniques. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Knowledge of food handling safety practices is a plus. This can be a part-time or full-time position depending on availability.
