Summer Camp Director RFM Learning Academy – 4.0 Daphne, AL Job Details Full-time $11 – $15 an hour 2 days ago Qualifications CPR Certification Mid-level Driver’s License Bachelor’s degree First Aid Certification AED Certification Full Job Description Under the general supervision of the Center Director, the Summer Camp Director implements the camp objectives and curriculum and manages the daily supervision of the camp. This includes, but is not limited to, scheduling activities, supervising staff members, administering first-aid, and acting as a liaison between the parents, staff and campers, and the hosting facility staff.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in a directly related field or an equivalent combination of directly related experience, training, and/or education. At least 21 years of age. Desire and ability to work with and relate to children in an outdoor setting Willingness to accept and provide supervision and guidance. Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification. Ability to relate to one’s peers. Ability to control children without physical contact or force.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Coach, supervise, and evaluate camp counselors in areas including, but not limited to: applying appropriate behavior management techniques for a camp setting observing RFM Learning Academy guidelines and procedures emergency procedures that meet or exceed all safety standards and that these procedures are followed Develops and maintains relationships with the summer camp hosting facility. Coach, supervise, and evaluate the camp site in areas including, but not limited to monitoring proper implementation of curriculum and lesson planning, strengths-based coaching of direct reports, program quality control, risk management. Ensures that program standards are met and safety procedures are followed. Model superior communication and leadership to their team. Attends and participates in assigned training and meetings as required to provide a collaborative and cohesive approach to RFM Learning Academy’s vision and mission. Ensure that all program areas and equipment are kept clean and safe. Abide by RFM’s Code of Conduct and Dress Code.
