• Seasonal/Residential Estimated Hours Per Week 30 Anticipated Length of Assignment Job Summary The Alabama 4-H Center rests on 264 acres of lush rolling woodlandsalong the banks of beautiful Lay Lake and is surrounded by some ofthe state’s most ecologically diverse features, including theCahaba River, Talladega National Forest, Cheaha Wilderness and OakMountain State Park.

The center is also located only 35 miles fromBirmingham, a culturally diverse city with excellent dining, musicand arts.

Training/Educational opportunities:

15-day extensive staff trainingon all programs provided at the center; Red Cross Lifeguarding,First Aid and CPR (End of Spring Season/Beginning of SummerSeason); Alabama Boating Certification Course (Fall and Springseasons).
