The candidate for this position will be a part ofthe Winged Foot Day Camp team and will serve as the primarylifeguard during camp hours. The Winged Foot Day Camp is theperfect opportunity for children of members to gain a full campexperience, take advantage of the world class facilities at TraversIsland, and create memories to last a lifetime. - Ensurethe well-being and safety of all members/guests using the pool
- Maintain the pool area’s cleanliness and organization
- Enforcesafety rules and regulations of the Club and pool deck
- Greetand interact with members in the pool area
- Attend pre-camptraining in June 2024 Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experienceas a lifeguard
- Transportation to and from Travers Islandrequired
- Be available 15-20 hours per week during June-August2024
- Must hold a valid CPR/AED/First Aid certification
- Musthold a valid Lifeguard certification
- Must be 18 years or older
- Pass NYS and national background checks
- Excellentcommunication skills and ability to work on a team
- Possesseffective customer service skills
