JOB SUMMARY
Under general supervision, ensures the safety of patrons of the city recreational swim program by preventing and responding to emergencies.
SUPERVISION
Swim Program Manager, Recreation DirectorHOURS:
Approximately 10-15 hours per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain constant surveillance of patrons at the facility.
Act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of an emergency.
Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
Identify potential accident hazards.
Enforce all pool rules in a consistent manner.
Ensure compliance with Satellite Beach Recreation Department policies and procedures.
Attend mandatory in-service training and meetings for swim staff.
Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
