Schedule :

The work schedule for June and July will consist of up to 16 hours per week. During these months, you will be scheduled for shifts from Thursday to Sunday, running from 9:30-6:00 PM. Each shift will include one 30-minute unpaid lunch break and two paid 15-minute breaks. Please note that starting in August, the schedule will revert back to Saturdays and Sundays only. Sawgrass Lakes is a community homeowner’s association of 900+ homes located in West Melbourne FL. We are now hiring certified lifeguards for our 2-story waterslide and surrounding pool. We are looking for candidates who are friendly, reliable, and enjoy spending time under the sun!

Main Job responsibilities include:

• Supervising patron activity of the waterslide and pool.
• Responding to emergency situations and initiating First-Aid.
• Turning on and off the waterslide at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Enforcement of amenity center rules and policies.
• Maintaining a clean and safe pool deck and waterslide space.

Requirements:

• Must already have lifeguard certification prior to starting.
• Must be at least 15 years old or older.
• Must have reliable transportation
• Sunday Availability from 9:30am-6:00pm.
• Must be able to pass drug test and background check.

After 6 months of work in good standing, the association will also reimburse the cost of your lifeguard certification.
