Lifegaurd Chabad of Jacksonville 10129 Haley Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Lifeguard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all pool patrons while providing excellent guest services. This role requires a strong commitment to maintaining a safe and clean swimming environment, as well as the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations. Duties Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all swimmers and prevent accidents. Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment. Perform regular pool maintenance, including cleaning and chemical balancing. Provide first aid and CPR as needed in emergency situations. Assist guests with inquiries and provide exceptional customer service. Conduct regular safety drills and training sessions to stay prepared for emergencies. Maintain accurate records of pool usage, incidents, and maintenance activities. Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to pool equipment or supplies. Experience Previous experience as a Lifeguard is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided. Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional lifeguard certification is a plus. Experience in guest services or hospitality is beneficial. Familiarity with pool cleaning and maintenance practices is an advantage.
