EXAMPLE OF DUTIES

The primary functions of this position include: leading the summer lifeguards with their swim lessons; rescuing swimmers in distress and administering first aid treatment as necessary; enforcing safety rules and regulations regarding water activities, teaching swimming classes, accounting for monies received, performing pool maintenance, and cleaning the facility.

Will be required to train and document all rescue skills and CPR/First Aid procedures.

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION MANDATORY CAMP IN-SERVICE TRAINING

will be held: June 11th, 2025

CAMP DATES:

June 11th – August 9th, 2025Note that this position does not include benefits.

Perform extensive physical activity and work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Understand that camp staffing levels are dependent on minimum enrollment and camper participation. If enrollment is too low, staff may be subject to layoff or relocation.

Monday through Friday – Work days and hours will vary.

Commit to working the entire summer camp season, including training week.
