Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age High School Diploma or GED CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, and First Aid certifications Lifeguard certification Swim Instructor Certification by the American Red Cross or YMCA preferred As a Lifeguard, you will: Supervise swimming activities at the center pool Ensure all aquatics policies, guidelines, and safety procedures are followed Administers first aid in the event of injury Rescues swimmers in distress or danger of drowning; administers CPR Regularly inspect the pool area, equipment, and water/chemical ratios Demonstrate warmth and affection towards all children in the center Attend monthly faculty meetings Promote the classroom and the Doodle Bugs! center Ensure compliance with company policies, licensing regulations, and staff to child ratios Stay current on policies, regulations, laws, standards, and education trends When you join our team, we are committed to providing you with: A positive work culture that promotes collaboration, communication, and empowerment Fully stocked classroom resources Our child-centered, play-based curriculum written in-house by a team of education professionals Innovative software and technology to help manage your classroom Ongoing professional development opportunities such as emergency management training Leadership and career growth opportunities Doodle Bugs!
