We are looking for an experienced Pool Mechanic to join our team! This role is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of all hotel pool areas. This role involves maintaining water quality in accordance with state and county health codes, performing regular inspections and preventive maintenance, and supporting the overall guest experience by providing a safe and clean aquatic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain clean and sanitary water conditions in all hotel pools, spas, and water features.
Monitor and maintain proper water chemistry levels, including chlorine, pH, alkalinity, and other necessary parameters.
Conduct and record water tests as required by local, county, and state regulations to ensurepliance and safety.
Perform daily inspections and preventative maintenance on pool equipment, filters, pumps, heaters, and chemical feeders.
Identify and troubleshoot issues related to pool systems and coordinate necessary repairs or adjustments.
Maintain accurate logs of pool maintenance activities and chemical usage.
Work closely with other departments (e.g., housekeeping, facilities, recreation) to coordinate schedules and minimize disruptions.
Maintain inventory of pool chemicals and supplies, ensuring safe storage and handling.
Stay current with industry best practices, safety standards, and local regulations regarding pool maintenance.

Qualifications
Technical training or certification in pool operation preferred (e.g., CPO – Certified Pool Operator).
Previous experience maintainingmercial or resort pool systems required.
Strong understanding of water chemistry and pool equipment operation.
Basic mechanical and plumbing knowledge.
Ability to lift heavy equipment, work outdoors in varying weather, and work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays.
Strong attention to detail andmitment to safety.
