Position Summary :

The Pool Supervisor will report directly to the Landscaping Manager. Core responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to: This position is primarily responsible for adjusting the schedules of the Pool Attendants when necessary, ensures that Pool Attendants get their meal periods daily, makes sure that towels are furnished to the pools as needed, and makes sure the pools are kept in a constant state of cleanliness and safe. Ensures pools are always in a pleasing, comfortable atmosphere for our guests. Follow all company policies and procedures; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests’ service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager. Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Specific Responsibilities:

Inspects Pool and Spa tiles for cleanliness and safety standards. Inspect Pools to ensure that they are clean and organized and provide support to Pool Attendants. Inspects all bathrooms to ensure safety and cleanliness standards. Orders bathroom equipment when needed. Maintains accountability for Pool Towels, ensures that minimal damage or loss is accounted for. Inspects Tables and Chairs daily to ensure cleanliness and safety standards. Places orders for supplies (toilet paper, towels, cleaning supplies, and first aid kit supplies ensuring that the pools are fully stocked with needed supplies. Communicates with owners/guests daily to provide a Gold Crown hospitality setting Inspect each pools and surroundings at least twice daily. Meet with the Facility Manager once a week to review field reports Ensure all pools run effectively and stay within the health department regulations Inform Landscaping Manager about any repairs needed of the pool area including restrooms, deck, counter, etc. Complete or oversee the completion of all minor repairs. Maintains a friendly, professional, cheerful, and courteous demeanor always. Attends meetings as required. Ensure that the staff working on pools 5,6 and 7 are transported to their pools and back to the shop. Meet with staff at the beginning of their shift to provide with any updates, changes or any pertinent information on a daily basis. Must inform Landscaping Manager and PBX when pools are going to be closed, for how long and when they will be opened. Assist Landscaping Manager with assigned projects. Inform Landscaping Manager of guests complaints, address the complaints and find resolution. Performs other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by management Position Requirements (Skills/Abilities) :

Experience:

Three to five years of hospitality-related supervisory experience is required. Timeshare or Resort management experience highly desirable. Must be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously; communicate effectively at all levels; and demonstrate the ability to analyze and resolve problems. Must possess significant computer software program experience, especially Excel and Word.

Education:

High School diploma or GED required.

Languages:

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Flexible Scheduling:

Must be able to work Evenings, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is required to use his/her hands and fingers to feel, and reach for objects of various sizes, shapes, and weight. The employee will occasionally be required to climb a step ladder or balance and, to talk, hear and/or smell. The employee must regularly push, pull, lift and/or move 10-25 lbs. And occasionally push, pull, lift and/or move 50 or more pounds with assistance. Specific Vision abilities required for this job include Close vision, Distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to focus on various settings.

This position is highly visible in all resort areas, team members must present a clean professional appearance and must adhered to Daily Management, Inc., Local Standard Operating Procedures-Standards of Appearance.
