High School Diploma or GED Position Summary:
Responsible for coaching Camden County PSA swim team to prepare them for events and competitions. Maintains a variable schedule and works the required hours to meet the duties and responsibilities of this position which may include evening and weekend work.
Essential Responsibilities/Duties:
Works with swim team during practices, events, and competitions Organize and plan swim meets Communicate with swim team parents about all matters pertaining to the swim team Performs all other duties as related Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Lifeguard/CPR/First Aid/AED Certification USA Swim Certification Ability to work well with others Familiarity with using team unify Excellent communication skills Demonstrated ability to teach swim lessons Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written form Exercises mature judgment and sound decision-making Self-motivation and the ability to deliver constructive criticism Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with parents, and students
Working Environment:
Duties are primarily performed at Aquatics Center during morning, afternoons, nights and weekends. This position works closely with others as well as independently.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires: the ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time; hand eye coordination; physical dexterity, and the ability to lift swimmers of various ages and sizes; must be able to lift 50 lbs or more.
