Group Swim Lesson Instructor(s) Hamilton Wenham Recreation Department South Hamilton, MA 01982 Job Announcement/ Description Water Safety Instructors The Hamilton Wenham Recreation Department is now accepting applicants for the seasonal position of Water Safety Instructors for the Veterans Memorial Pool at Patton Park. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality swim instruction to students of all ages and skill levels, ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment. Swim Lessons are held on Saturday Mornings 9:00am – 11:00am, from July 5th – August 16th. Plus additional hours for meetings and prep. This position can be offered in conjunction with a lifeguard role or as stand-alone options. Requirements Minimum of 17 years of age Current Water Safety Instructor (WSI) Certification Current Lifeguard Certification Preferred Previous experience teaching lessons preferred Experience working with individuals of all abilities Responsibilities Plan and Instruct group swim lessons for children ages 3-12 Create daily lesson plans Communicate with families regarding participant progress and recommendations for swim levels Support and provide direction to swim aides assigned to lessons
