Job Summary
Responsible for safety and discipline of the swimmers and staff. Knowledge of pool activities and operations.
Seasonal employment
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Supervises swimmers and their activities.
Maintains the cleanliness of the pool and area facility.
Performs rescue and first aid as necessary.
Files any accident and/or rescue reports as they occur.
Executes excellent customer service.
Assists with opening/closing duties.
Attends required in-service trainings.
Maintains an attentive lookout for potential accidents in the swimming pool and surrounding facility and appropriately corrects any problems.
Enforces pool rules & regulations.
Maintains the cleanliness of the pool/gate/restroom facility.
Monitors waterslides for proper patron use and dispatches swimmers (only 16 years and up.)
Other Duties and Responsibilities
Performs all other related duties as assigned.
