00 per hour. Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pool Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all pool guests. This position requires you to be in pool assisting YMCA staff members during our Club kids aquatics training/play time. This person would need the ability to manage conflicts effectively and a passion for Boys & Girls Club youth members. As a Pool Attendant, you will be responsible for monitoring pool activities and assisting members in the pool. Responsibilities Monitor pool activities to ensure safety and compliance with all rules and regulations. Engage with children and families, ensuring a fun and safe experience for all ages. Conduct public speaking announcements regarding safety protocols or event information as needed. Collaborate with YMCA lifeguards to ensure a cohesive approach to Club member safety. Skills Strong conflict management skills to resolve issues effectively and maintain a positive atmosphere. Lifeguard certification is preferred but not required. Experience working with children to ensure their safety and enjoyment at the pool. Proficient public speaking skills for making announcements or engaging with Club members.
