Summary As a Part-time Lifeguard at Queens University, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all pool patrons through vigilant monitoring and immediate response to emergencies. Reporting to the Manager, you will utilize your core skills in first aid, CPR, and swimming to maintain a secure environment. Your role will also involve pool maintenance and guest services, enhancing the overall experience for visitors. With relevant skills in heavy lifting and pool cleaning, you will contribute to the upkeep of the facility while promoting a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for all. Responsibilities Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all swimmers and enforce pool rules. Administer first aid and CPR as needed in emergency situations. Perform regular pool maintenance, including cleaning and checking chemical levels. Assist guests with inquiries and provide excellent customer service. Lift and move heavy equipment as required for pool operations.
