Teen Trip Camp Counselor – YAC The Granite YMCA – Allard Center of Goffstown 116 Goffstown Back Road, Goffstown, NH 03045 Are you looking for a meaningful summer job where you can build leadership skills, make an impact, and have fun while working with a supportive team? Teen Trip Camp in Goffstown, NH, is seeking Counselors for our Summer 2025 season! Our trip-based camp serves youth ages 12-16. We coach campers to build relationships, try new things, and create lifelong memories, all while ensuring their safety and acting as positive role models. At the Y, we foster a supportive, empowering environment that helps you show up as your best and most authentic self—so you can learn, grow, and thrive.
Your Role:
Build nurturing and positive relationships with campers. Foster strong collaboration with coworkers, supervisors, and parents. Support the Camp Director, Unit Leader, and fellow counselors during daily trips. Actively engage with campers in ways that promote character development. Embody and uphold the YMCA core values: Caring, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility, and Courage.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 19 years old. Willing and able to obtain (or currently hold) CPR & First Aid Certifications. Available to attend required camp trainings before and during the season. Bring a patient, caring, responsible, flexible, and positive attitude. Experience working or volunteering with youth in recreation or a similar setting preferred. Minimum two years of prior camp counselor experience preferred. Lifeguard certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
