Role:

We currently have immediate openings for nurturing, safety-conscious team members to work in our Kid Zone , a short-term, drop-in babysitting service for children up to age 9. This service allows YMCA members to enjoy the facility while knowing their children are in a safe and engaging environment. As a Kid Zone staff member, you’ll lead fun and educational activities such as games, crafts, and story time, all while embodying the YMCA’s core values: Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility .

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and interact with children in a positive and engaging way Lead age-appropriate crafts, games, reading, and creative play Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming space for all children and families Communicate effectively with parents and YMCA staff

Qualifications:

Passion for working with children Previous experience supervising kids of varying ages Ability to model YMCA values in daily interactions CPR/First Aid certification is a plus

Work Schedule & Pay:

Flexible scheduling available Shifts offered

Monday-Friday:

8:00am-12:00pm and 3:30pm-7:00pm Occasional weekend shifts for special events
