Summary We are seeking a dedicated Lifeguard to join our team at Piping Rock Club. In this role, you will ensure the safety and well-being of our members and guests at the pool area. Your vigilance and expertise will contribute significantly to maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment. We are only seeking Lifeguards who are able to work through September 1st. Responsibilities Monitor pool activities to ensure safety for all patrons. Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment. Perform rescue operations as necessary and administer first aid or CPR when required. Conduct regular inspections of the pool area to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met. Assist with pool maintenance tasks including cleaning and chemical testing. Provide excellent guest service by being approachable and responsive to member needs. Requirements Current Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certification required. We can provide the Red Cross test. Ability to pass the Nassau County Lifeguard License test required. Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform rescues if needed. Experience in guest services or recreational settings is a plus. Ability to lift heavy objects as needed for maintenance tasks.
