Lifeguard (Seasonal) Position Available In Suffolk, New York

Lifeguard (Seasonal) Sound View Greenport 58775 Route 48, Greenport, NY 11944 Must be certified lifeguard with CPR Must be available to work until Labor Day weekend. Maintain order and enforce pool rules in swimming and sauna areas. Clean the pool and sauna regularly of loose debris. Keep chairs, etc. in order, arranging them neatly within the pool deck area. Complete daily chlorine content log according to established procedures. May determine chlorine content and pH value of water, using water testing kit. Rescue swimmers in danger of drowning and administer first aid. May inspect exercise equipment room daily and report any maintenance and repair needs to Maintenance. Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments. Follows all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to manager; Complete shift checklists and special projects as assigned. Be available to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Be completely familiar with hotel emergency procedures, and provide, calm, reassuring assistance to guests and fellow employees in the event of an emergency. To follow all company policies and procedures. To immediately report all suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions. To maintain the cleanliness and safety of work areas at all times. Follow all company safety standards, including proper equipment handling to avoid injury to yourself and others. To attend all mandatory meetings as directed. To perform other tasks, including cross-training, as directed.
