May 24th, 25th, and 26th, 2025 Shifts run from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM daily (6 hours per day)

Pay:

Description:

Camp Lakota is hiring certified lifeguards for a 3-day private event over Memorial Day Weekend at our lakefront property in Wurtsboro, NY. Lifeguards will supervise all waterfront activities and ensure a safe environment for event guests. You may travel to and from camp each day, or opt to stay overnight on campus (June 14-15th).

Responsibilities:

Supervise swimmers and waterfront activities from 10 AM to 4 PM Enforce all safety rules and emergency procedures Provide first aid and CPR if needed Work closely with camp staff and fellow lifeguards to maintain safety

Qualifications:

Current lifeguard certification (American Red Cross or equivalent) CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification Must be at least 17 years old Previous experience at camps or lakefronts preferred Reliable daily transportation OR willingness to stay overnight
