Camp Lifeguard/Swim Instructor Young Judaea Sprout Westchester Day Camp Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520 Sprout Westchester, a Jewish day camp, is looking for responsible and enthusiastic Lifeguards to join our summer team! If you love swimming, working with children, and want to be part of a fun and supportive camp community, this is the perfect summer job for you! (June 30th to August 22nd, with 4 days of staff training)
What You’ll Do:
Supervise and ensure the safety of campers during swim periods Maintain a watchful eye on all swimmers, enforcing pool safety rules Assist with swim instruction and encourage campers to build confidence in the water Respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations Assist with daily pool checks and basic pool maintenance to ensure a clean and safe swimming environment Work closely with the Aquatics Director to create an incredible and safe space for all campers Be a positive role model while creating a fun and supportive aquatic environment
What We’re Looking For:
Must be 16 years or older Lifeguard certification is a plus , but we can assist with obtaining up-to-date American Red Cross Lifeguard & CPR certification Strong swimming skills and comfort in deep and shallow water Responsible, attentive, and a team player Enthusiastic about working with children in a camp setting Why Join Us?
