We enrich families, connect friends, strengthen community, and help people lead joyful lives. Job Summary Monitor pool activities and maintain a safe swimming environment by enforcing all pool rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations:

Act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of guests in the event of an accident or emergency Communicate the rules of the facility to swimmers fairly and consistently Maintain all necessary records determined by the Aquatics Manager Support a welcoming environment for all members and students Pride themselves on being energetic, professional, reliable and enthusiastic members of our team Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor Skills, Education and Experience Must have and maintain ARC Lifeguard and CPR Certification Six months lifeguarding experience preferred Water Safety Instructor Certification a plus Must be 16 years or older Physical Requirements Ability to react to emergency situations by quick movements, strenuous activity, and on occasion assist or lift persons in distress of varying weights. Required to remain alert to dangerous situations while sitting, standing or walking for various lengths of time Salar y $20
