Description Pitts Kids Summer Lifeguard The PITT’s KIDS Summer Camp program provides instruction in aquatics, games, and sports instruction to children ages 3 to 14 years old.

The Summer Camp Lifeguard will be responsible for ensuring the safety of campers during swimming and water activities. Key duties include monitoring the swimming area, enforcing safety rules, responding to emergencies, and providing first aid when necessary. Lifeguards will participate in assisting with swim lessons as needed and maintain a clean and safe environment around the pool or designated swim area. During mornings with no swim scheduled, swim staff will be expected to assist with STEAM activities along with our swim staff.

Candidates must hold current lifeguard certification, CPR, and First Aid certifications, and demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with children and staff. A commitment to creating a fun and safe atmosphere is essential.

DATES:

6/23/25-7/31/25, 6-weeks Monday-Thursday 9AM-3:30PM. Option to work additional hours between pre-care 8AM-9AM and post-care 3:30PM-5:30PM.

Required Orientation:

6/16/24 & 6/17/25 9AM-1PM

PURPOSE OF JOB

To work directly with the children in the aquatic environment. Provide a safe and fun space for all participants in the program. To setup and break down all equipment for the pool area. To help with all other areas of the aquatics program as assigned. Implement all lifeguard duties. Work with lead instructors and report to leadership team with feedback. Apply today to join our team!
