Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swimming Instructor (independent contractor) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong background in aquatic activities. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for educating individuals of all ages on swimming techniques, water safety. Responsibilities Teach kids swimming lessons. (Ages 6 months – 18 years) Teach adult private lessons. (18 +). Can follow lesson plans and aquatic protocols. Has good social and time management skills. Responsible. Positive Attitude. Patient. Passionate about teaching youth and adults swimming skills and water safety. Monitor students’ progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.

Pay and Additional Details:

Instructors will retain 80% of the lesson fees charged to members. This is a 1099 independent contractor role. Taxes and insurance are the responsibility of the instructor. Schedule is flexible and based on instructor availability and member demand. All instructors must comply with club policies and uphold the values of the club community.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a swim instructor, lifeguard, or swim team coach Certification in lifeguarding or water safety instruction (WSI preferred) Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications. Background in swimming Ability to be consistent and commitment to teaching each swim session. Must be physically capable of performing swimming-related tasks effectively. Must provide proof of individual liability insurance prior to starting. Must be eligible to work in the United States as a 1099 contractor.
