Swim Instructor/Lifeguard H20stoneswimming Fort Mill, SC 29708 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong background in swimming and aquatic safety. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for educating students of all ages on swimming techniques, water safety, and building confidence in the water. Your role is vital in fostering a positive learning environment while ensuring the safety of all participants. Responsibilities Conduct swim lessons for individuals and groups of varying skill levels. Educate students on proper swimming techniques and water safety practices. Develop personalized lesson plans to meet the needs of each student. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback. Maintain a safe and clean environment in and around the pool area. Implement behavior management strategies to ensure a positive learning atmosphere. Collaborate with other instructors to enhance program offerings. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Skills Strong swimming skills with experience in teaching swim techniques. Ability to educate students effectively, utilizing clear communication skills. Knowledge of behavior management techniques to handle various situations. Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and parents. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. Commitment to promoting safety and well-being in aquatic environments.
