Now accepting applications for the Boost Swim Lesson Coordinator role. This role will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of our swim lesson program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for children, water safety education, excellent communication skills, and experience managing instructors and programming.

This is a part-time role that can also work well with a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities:

Plan and organize seasonal swim lesson schedules and class offerings. Hire, train, schedule, and supervise swim instructors. Ensure personnel and facility adherence to safety standards and program policies. Provide excellent customer service to parents, guardians, and participants. Monitor and evaluate lesson quality and instructor performance. Maintain accurate records of class rosters, attendance, and progress reports. Respond to questions, feedback, and concerns in a professional and timely manner. Collaborate with management to promote programs and special events. Enforce safety protocol and maintain a safe environment at all times for all concerned. Immediately report injury and/or suspicious incidents to the Aquatics Director; complete and submit incident report. Attend and participate in staff meetings and training clinics. Complete required courses and maintain current certifications (such as Swim Instruction Certifications) required and relevant to job.

Qualifications:

Prior experience teaching swim lessons and/or managing aquatic programs. Strong leadership and organizational skills. CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard certification (or willingness to obtain). Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. Passion for working with children and families in a safe, fun, and educational environment.

Pay Range:

The pay range for this position is $18.00 to $25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
