Responsibilities include:

Use appropriate rescue techniques ifobserving swimmers in need of assistance. Observe the swimming areafor dangerous conditions, unusual or unsafe activities, andswimmers who are struggling. Promote the rules and regulations ofthe recreation facility. Be aware of possible situations whereguests are not able to safely participate in an activity and informsupervisor/manager. Provide assistance to injured guests until thearrival of emergency medical services. Promote a fun and relaxingatmosphere for guests. Obtain, fold, and stack towels according tocompany procedures. Wash, mop, and clean the pool deck. Reportaccidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager;complete safety training and certifications. Follow company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personalappearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality ofproprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome andacknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipateand address guests’ service needs; assist individuals withdisabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak withothers using clear and professional language. Support allco-workers and treat them with dignity and respect. Comply withquality assurance expectations and standards. Visually inspecttools, equipment, or machines; move over sloping, uneven, orslippery surfaces; stand, sit, or walk for an extended period oftime. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighingless than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
