Job DescriptionWe are seeking an enthusiastic and patient Swimming Instructor to join our team in Lebanon, United States. As a Swimming Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching swimming skills to individuals of all ages and abilities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment.
Conduct swimming lessons for individuals and groups of various ages and skill levelsDevelop and implement lesson plans tailored to each student’s abilities and goalsDemonstrate proper swimming techniques and provide clear instructions to studentsEnsure the safety of all participants by enforcing pool rules and regulationsMonitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parentsMaintain a clean and organized pool areaAssist in the supervision of the pool area during open swim timesParticipate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay current on best practicesPerform basic pool maintenance and water quality checks as neededQualificationsStrong swimming skills and knowledge of various swimming strokes and techniquesCertified Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification requiredCurrent Lifeguard certificationCPR and First Aid certificationHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience as a swimming instructor or lifeguard preferredExcellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse age groupsPatient and supportive teaching approachAbility to demonstrate and teach swimming techniques effectivelyUnderstanding of water safety principles and swim lesson progressionPhysical ability to enter and exit the pool multiple times per dayFlexibility to work evenings and weekends as neededEnthusiasm for swimming and helping others learn and improve their skills
