Housekeeping Baymont By Wyndham Prattville AL 104 Jameson Court, Prattville, AL 36066 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in a commercial settings. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Housekeeper will ensure that all areas are sanitized, organized, and presentable for clients or residents. Duties Perform custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting. Carry out commercial cleaning tasks in various settings as required. Conduct floor care activities such as stripping, waxing, and polishing floors. Execute carpet cleaning procedures to maintain cleanliness and appearance. Maintain residential cleaning standards by ensuring all rooms are tidy and well-kept. Launder linens, towels, and other items as needed. Sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other high-touch areas to promote hygiene. Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment. Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment. Skills Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning environments is preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques and carpet cleaning methods. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Attention to detail in cleaning tasks to ensure high standards are met. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team. Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus. Excellent communication skills to interact with clients or residents professionally. A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining cleanliness standards.
