Overview:

We are looking for a meticulous Housekeeper to join our team at Baldwin House. As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing homes, Assicted Living Facilities, Hospitals, and possess expertise in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment by daily cleaning resident rooms, common areas, and dining spaces. They uphold health and safety standards while fostering community and supporting residents’ well-being through their dedicated service.

Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning tasks to ensure all rooms and common areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness.
• Utilize appropriate cleaning agents and equipment for different surfaces and materials.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and inform the supervisor of any replenishment needs.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while handling cleaning chemicals.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department.
• Collaborate with the housekeeping team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to community residance requests or inquiries.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality work.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and carry objects throughout the shift.
