The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in residential or commercial settings. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Housekeeper will ensure that all areas are sanitized, organized, and welcoming for residents or guests. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Maintain resident apartments to their individual requirements and satisfaction. Preform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks as outlined in housekeeping schedules. Perform deep-cleaning of apartment prior to resident admission and upon discharge. Dust, Vacuum, Sweep, Mop and sanitize surfaces in assigned areas. Dispose of trash and recyclables properly. Replenish paper products, soap, and other supplies in resident rooms and common areas. Report maintenance needs or safety hazards to the Maintenance Director promptly. Skills Proven experience in custodial services or residential cleaning is preferred. Knowledge of sanitization practices and cleaning techniques for various surfaces. Familiarity with housekeeping management principles Ability to lift to 30 pounds. Ability to operate cleaning equipment effectively (e.g., vacuum cleaners, mop). Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail to ensure thorough cleaning tasks are completed efficiently. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout the day.
