Basic Responsibilities:

Cleans assigned areas of the hospital including patient rooms, departments, corridors, etc. Mops, buffs, and vacuums floors. Collects soiled or clean linens; washes, sorts, dries, and folds linens. Collects waste from all areas of the facility. Is responsible for the general cleanliness of the facility.

Basic Requirements:

• High School Diploma or the equivalent
• Some related experience in the healthcare setting, preferred
• Must have knowledge of proper housekeeping technique and procedures
• Must know appropriate house cleaning equipment and supplies used to complete assigned duties.
