Room Attendant Hampton Inn Atmore 2061 South College Street, Auburn, AL 36832 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and common areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. This role requires a strong commitment to quality and attention to detail, contributing to the overall guest experience in our hotel. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas, following established procedures. Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish amenities as needed. Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a pristine appearance. Vacuum carpets and clean floors using appropriate equipment and techniques. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping management team promptly. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is necessary. Assist with the cleaning of common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and stairwells as required. Uphold high standards of cleanliness in accordance with hotel policies and procedures. Experience Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services is preferred but not required. Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and floor care is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering exceptional service in a hospitality environment. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
