Public Space Attendant (Houseperson) – Weekdays/Weekends

AMERICA- Madison,AL Madison, AL 35758 Overview We are seeking a energetic, dedicated, and detail-oriented Hotel Houseperson to join our Extended Stay team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and an eye for detail, as well as experience in housekeeping management and industrial cleaning. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to brand standards. Perform floor care duties including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces. Ensure all linens are clean, properly stored, and replaced as needed. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management. Respond promptly to guest requests for additional items or services. Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction. Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met. Requirements Previous experience in housekeeping management or hotel cleaning preferred. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and custodial practices. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards guests and team members. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift, including lifting up to 25 pounds.
