Housekeeping 4.3 4.3 out of 5 stars Mobile, AL 36609 Position Summary The role of this part time Housekeeping position is to support the ministries of Cottage Hill Baptist Church by ensuring facilities remain clean, sanitary, organized, and ready for any and every occasion. Responsibilities and Duties Perform day-to-day custodial/janitorial tasks such as cleaning bathrooms, hallways and offices, removing trash, and cleaning large common areas and auditoriums Perform specific tasks assigned by housekeeping manager to prepare the building for events Follow published monthly work schedule and ensure daily assigned work tasks are completed Be prepared to work occasional weekends and special events Perform other duties as directed by housekeeping manager Follow all general safety and organizationally specific safety protocols General Qualifications/Skills Must be willing to submit to both a background check and drug test Must be able to work in a high traffic, busy environment Flexible, dedicated, dependable and self-motivated Job Specific Qualifications/Skills Able to function both independently and as part of a team in completing work assignments Able to work around children Able to operate cleaning equipment and tools Able to lift and move heavy objects (trash, tables, supplies) Work Hours This is a part time position working 5-6 hours per day Monday – Friday and occasionally working on Saturday and/or Sunday. This is an evening position with a set work schedule with the exception of special events which are scheduled based on considerations of the employee and the organization.
