Hard Cider Slushie Attendant/Tasting Room Attendant B.F. Clyde’s Cider Mill 129 N Stonington Rd, Mystic, CT 06355 Clyde’s is hiring energetic, self-motivated individuals for a Slushie Hut attendant and Tasting Room Attendant! This position does not begin until the end of August.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Customer Service:
Welcome and engage with customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner. Promote and sell our hard cider products to visitors. Provide information about the different cider flavors to guests. Assist customers in selecting the right products for their preferences. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
Tasting Room Operations:
Prepare and set up tasting areas. Greet and guide visitors through tasting experiences. Share detailed information about our cider and wine offerings. Encourage guests to explore different flavors and provide recommendations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Slushie Hut Operations:
Prepare and serve Hard Cider Slushies. Keep the slushie preparation area, equipment, and serving area clean and sanitized at all times. Greet and assist customers with enthusiasm. Accurately take customer orders, process payments, and ensure prompt and efficient service. Keep track of inventory levels for slushie ingredients and alert staff when supplies need to be replenished.
Compliance:
Adhere to all legal regulations and company policies related to alcohol service and sales. Check identification and ensure responsible alcohol consumption. Maintain a safe and controlled environment for guests.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in sales, customer service, or the beverage industry is preferred but not required. TIPS certification preferred but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Enthusiastic and passionate about customer service. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be at least 21 years of age.
