Job Description
Overview A family in Greenwich, CT is seeking a superlative full-time live-in Housekeeper/Family Assistant and they are open to a candidate relocating for this role. They will have a housekeeping service doing the weekly deep cleaning for the home, but need help with the day to day tasks. The proposed schedule is 5 days a week (most of the time Tuesday through Sunday morning, but upon mutual agreement they may adjust the days depending on the season. The hours will be 40-45 hours/week from 10am-8pm on average, but flexibility is needed, and the schedule may fluctuate at times. They have 3 sons (ages 14, 12, and 10) and 1 cat in the home. Home is approximately 7,000 sq. ft. with 6 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms (1 guest bedroom is not used regularly). Responsibilities Daily cleaning/upkeep (I.E., make beds, clean floors, counters cleaned, spaces organized, bathrooms kept up, etc.). Children’s laundry Ironing is a bonus General household organizing Help with meal prep and occasional cooking for the whole family (the Mother loves to cook but there will be a few days a week the candidate will cook and the Mother will provide recipes to follow-meals such as fresh pasta, vegetable, and a protein, for example) Child pick-ups and drop-offs daily Run errands (dry cleaning, groceries) Manage household supplies, including organization and restocking Minimal pet care Requirements A candidate who is detail-oriented and experienced in home cleaning/upkeep A licensed driver with a clean driving record Not allergic to cats Salary and Benefits Accommodations within the home include own room and own private bathroom $1800-2000/weekly DOE ($93,600-$104,000 annually approximately) 2 weeks paid vacation 5 paid sick days
