Housekeeping Houseperson Home2 Suites Gainesville 2115 SW 13th Street, Gainesville, FL 32608

Responsibilities:

• Clean and tidy all areas of the hotel, including guest rooms, common areas, and restrooms
• Make beds and change linens as needed
• Vacuum carpets and sweep/mop floors
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures
• Replenish amenities such as towels, toiletries, and coffee supplies
• Empty trash and dispose of waste in designated areas
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
• Follow all hotel policies and procedures to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for guests
• Adhere to housekeeping management guidelines for efficient and effective cleaning practices

Requirements:

• Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles preferred
• Knowledge of hotel housekeeping procedures is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner
• Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including bending, lifting, and standing for long periods of time
• Familiarity with floor care equipment and industrial cleaning products is beneficial
• Good communication skills to interact with guests and team members in a professional manner
