Housekeeping Motel 6 / Studio 6 1801 West State Road 84, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33315 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including hotels, commercial establishments, and residential properties. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, ensuring that guests and clients experience a welcoming and hygienic environment. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a clean and safe environment. Manage housekeeping duties in accordance with established standards for cleanliness and sanitation. Handle laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens and towels. Conduct carpet cleaning and floor care to maintain the appearance of all surfaces. Assist in cooking or preparing light meals when required. Respond promptly to guest requests for additional services or supplies. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management. Adhere to safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment. Requirements Proven experience in housekeeping or related fields such as hotel management or commercial cleaning is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and sanitation practices. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality standards in cleanliness. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus.
