Houseperson/Housekeeping 2.5 2.5 out of 5 stars 2500 Stirling Road, Hollywood, FL 33020

General Function/Primary Responsibilities:

Clean and maintain exterior common grounds and related interior areas for the hotel; responsible for loading and unloading linen in appropriate bins and carts; keeping loading dock and laundry chute in clean and in order.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Ø Fully embrace Service Excellence Initiative by demonstrating “customer-first” actions for all internal and external customers and accepting responsibility and accountability for demonstrating empowerment decisions and actions during daily work. Ø Maintain accurate inventory Ø Assist supervisor, room attendants, and lobby attendants as needed Ø Interact with team members and customers in a courteous and efficient manner Ø Stock and maintain room attendants’ closet inventory Ø Report linen damages and/or shortages to the Executive Housekeeper Ø Remove dirty linen and trash out hsk rooms getting it down to the linen room Ø Check with the Executive Housekeeper for their project for the day Ø Make sure your hallways and stairwell are check and clean on a daily base Ø Promote a synergistic relationship between customers, employees and other divisions Ø Maintain appropriate personal development Ø Adhere to Company policies Ø Observe and enforce proper safety procedures Ø Exhibit a high level of personal organization and time management Ø Ensure timely completion of special projects and other duties as assigned Ø Maintain personal integrity at all times and in all matters Ø Appropriate and timely feedback to supervisor
