In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of common areas within the hotel. Your efforts will contribute to providing an exceptional experience for our guests, ensuring that they feel comfortable and welcomed during their stay. This position requires a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and a passion for hospitality.
Responsibilities :
Cleaning and Maintenance:
Cleaning and maintaining public areas like lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and elevators.
Public Area Maintenance:
Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, polishing, and scrubbing public areas. Assisting with
Events:
Setting up and breaking down equipment for events. Performing labor-intensive tasks , such as flipping mattresses and moving furniture. Perform floor care duties such as vacuuming, mopping, and polishing floors. Maintain cleanliness in common areas including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Assisting with simple repairs, such as fixing doors, locks, or other minor issues. Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing in accordance with hotel standards. Assist with laundry services as needed to ensure a steady supply of clean linens. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns. Supporting senior maintenance personnel with more complex tasks and projects. Skills Experience in industrial cleaning or custodial work is preferred. Strong understanding of hospitality standards and practices. Proficient in floor care techniques, including the use of various cleaning equipment. Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment. Knowledge of housekeeping management principles is a plus. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality work. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
