Residential Housekeeper Golden Retreat Shelter Care Center Inc. 4410 Moncrief Road West, Jacksonville, FL 32209 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in the building and residents rooms, ensuring a welcoming environment for clients and guests. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and an eye for detail, as well as the ability to perform various cleaning tasks efficiently. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of resident rooms, including dusting, making beds, mopping, cleaning common areas and sanitizing surfaces. Maintain cleanliness in residential spaces, ensuring all areas are tidy and presentable. Launder linens and towels as needed, ensuring they are fresh and clean for use. Cook meals or prepare snacks as requested by the facility. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and preferences promptly. Change and wash linens for each bed. Assist with custodial duties in shared spaces, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management immediately. Experience Previous experience in residential cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not required. Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Knowledge of sanitation practices and cleaning techniques is beneficial. Experience in housekeeping or similar environments is an advantage.
